YOU ARE WELCOME AT

EMMANUEL CHURCH

In light of the spread of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and as an expression of care for the most vulnerable in our society;

Emmanuel Church will not be holding public gatherings until further notice

(this includes Sunday Services, GECKO Kids' Club, Playtime, and Glenhaven Youth).

Emmanuel Church Community will continue to give expression to our friendship and fellowship as we find new ways to "do church" together.

FOCUSING ON WHAT MATTERS

Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.

Psalm 62:8

Together we're still finalising the particular shape of ministry in this unprecedented season however we continue to be marked by 3 values:

Trusting in God.

God's promises to his people, secured in the death and resurrection of Jesus, remain unchanged. Nothing can seperate us from the love of God.

Connecting with others.

Christians are adopted into a big family called the church. Our Emmanuel family is committed to connecting with others in meaningful ways. Whilst we may be physically seperate we intend to draw closer to each other in friendship and fellowship.

Caring for those in need.

There are many in our community who are vulnerable because of age, mobility issues, loss of income,  underlying health issues, or social isolation. In the likeness of our saviour who served us, our church community is committed to caring for those who are in need.

• If you have any particular needs;

• If you have a prayer point you wish to share;

• If you are in a position to offer practical or social support for others;

• If you are self-isolating and would benefit from social support;

• If there is someone who you are concerned about;

please email us at [email protected] to let us know what’s going on.

One of our  will be in touch to offer support as we are able.

Keep looking to Christ

The situation continues to evolve and it would be easy to become anxious or uneasy.

Let me encourage you to remember Jesus. You can trust him.

Let us keep looking to Jesus.

(Hebrews 12:2 NIRV)
